880 Harrison – The Blockchain Building
This modern, edgy, co-working space started out as the Loudoun County Sheriff’s office. Justine was brought on board by the developer at the beginning of the project to help reimagine the formerly, dark, dated 3-story building. Dropped ceilings were removed to expose the duct work throughout the common areas, original brick walls were uncovered, and custom black metal and glass dividers were created to further enhance the cool, industrial vibe, while also bringing natural light and character to the spaces.
The development’s signature lime green, along with pops of other bright colors, were added to bring energy to the spaces, and to help establish the brand identity. Justine and her team chose ergonomic furnishings, unique lighting, inspirational art, and an abundance of live plants to ensure the overall design functions optimally for the people who work there.
The Blockchain Building project was awarded the Signatures of Loudoun Best Makeover Design in 2019.
